Your Role
We are seeking a reliable and proactive School Bus Operations Services Team Lead (DE/ENG) to oversee and coordinate our school’s transportation services. This role ensures safe, efficient, and customer-focused daily bus operations for students and staff.

You will lead a small team of drivers, plan and optimize routes, and act as the main liaison between families, drivers, and the school’s Facilities & Operations department.

What you will do

• Plan, coordinate, and optimise daily and annual bus routes.
• Supervise, train, and support a team of ICS drivers, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Organise substitute driver coverage and maintain documentation of licenses, CZV certifications, and training records.
• Coordinate communication with parents regarding bus schedules, delays, and service updates.
• Collaborate with Procurement for extracurricular activities, and with HR and Facilities on driver recruitment, onboarding and drivers training.
• Manage transportation logistics for field trips, extracurricular activities, and events.
• Maintain route and attendance databases along with a support attendant for invoicing and reporting purposes.

What makes you our ideal Candidate

• Proven experience in transportation management, logistics, or fleet coordination.
• Fluent in German and English (both required); local area knowledge is a strong advantage.
• You hold the CZV certification, in case you need to drive.
• Valid D1 driver’s license (nice to have).
• Excellent organisational and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Customer-oriented, reliable, and collaborative mindset.
• Ability to manage operational challenges calmly and efficiently.
• Having a valid Swiss working permit and living close to the School.
