Your Role
We are seeking an experienced, student-centred Primary School Learning Support Teacher in Primary Learning Support team and ensure high-quality inclusive practices, from January 2026 till June 2026.
This position also includes a teaching load for a caseload of students. 
This position requires a reflective practitioner and strong collaborator who can support teachers, mentor colleagues, work closely with families, and guide decision-making for students with diverse needs.

Specific Responsibilities

What you will do

-Teach Primary Learning Support (LS) programme.
-Provide direct support to a caseload of students through co-teaching, interventions and individualised planning.
-Oversee the development, monitoring, and review of Individual Learning Plans.
-Support teachers with differentiation, inclusive practices, and co-planning.
-Review admissions documentation related to learning needs and advise on placement and support requirements.
-Conduct screenings or assessments when required for incoming or current students.
-Collaborate closely with homeroom teachers, EAL, counsellors, parents, and external specialists.
-Contribute to transition processes within Primary and to Secondary School.
-Contribute to school-wide inclusion.

The successful candidate will have:

What makes you our ideal Candidate

-A recognised teaching qualification and a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education or a related field
-Specialisation or significant experience in Learning Support, Special Education, or Inclusive Education
-A minimum of 3–5 years’ successful teaching experience, preferably in IB PYP settings.
-Proven experience supporting students with a wide range of learning profiles, including dyslexia, ADHD, ASD, EAL combinations, and gifted & talented learners
-Strong skills in differentiation, co-teaching, and designing individualised learning plans
-Experience reviewing educational assessments, progress data, or admissions documentation to determine support needs
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, families, and external specialists
-Strong organisational abilities, including managing documentation, timetables, and support plans with accuracy and confidentiality
-Fluency in English (C1/C2 level) and additional language skills (particularly German) as an asset in our multilingual community
-A reflective, adaptive, and empathetic approach, aligned with inclusive, internationally minded education
-Valid Swiss work permit or eligibility to work in Switzerland
